Playa Conchal Open 2026

Three days of pickleball doubles on the eight covered courts at Finca Escondida, from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026. Twelve divisions across A, B, C and 50+. Registration closes 30 November.

The tournament

Doubles under one roof

Men's, women's and mixed doubles, each in A, B and C levels and a 50+ draw, on courts under one roof, lit until 9pm. Every player gets four to six matches.

Dates: Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December 2026
Venue: Finca Escondida Racquet & Social Club, Huacas, Guanacaste: eight covered pickleball courts, lit until 9pm
Divisions: Twelve: men's, women's and mixed doubles, each in A, B, C and 50+
Format: Pool play to 15, then quarterfinals to 15 on Sunday; semifinals and finals best of three games to 11
Matches: Four to six per player
Field: Up to 96 teams, eight to ten per division
Entry: $55 per player for the first division, $45 for a second
Spectators: Free
Organiser: Lotus & Lime Tournaments, with Finca Escondida as host club and Reserva Conchal as partner

Saturday 5 December: Courts open 7am, pool play 8am to 4pm

Before you enter

How do I enter?

On the organiser's site, playaconchalopen.com, which takes entries and payment. Registration closes 30 November 2026, and the field is capped at 96 teams.

Which division should I play?

Men's, women's and mixed doubles each run an A, a B and a C division, plus 50+. You can enter a second division for $45 more.

Do I need to be a member of the club?

No. The tournament is open to all players and is entered through the organiser, not through the club.

Can I come and watch?

Yes, spectators get in free. On Sunday the semifinals start at 2pm, the division finals at 4pm and the A and 50+ finals at 7pm.

Where is it?

At Finca Escondida, just outside Huacas in Guanacaste, close to Playa Conchal, Flamingo and Tamarindo. Directions and driving times are on the contact page.
